Ragged Mountain Upgrades Snowmaking

Danbury, NH – Southern New Hampshire’s Ragged Mountain Resort recently announced over $1 million in resort improvements for the upcoming winter season.  With major upgrades to the water delivery system, Ragged will be able to make much more snow faster and plans to open both Spear Mountain and Ragged Mountain before the all-important Christmas vacation week.

With the upgrades the resort’s popular Flying Yankee trail on Spear Mountain, serviced by the only high speed six-passenger chairlift in New Hampshire, gains a brand new, fully automated snowmaking system. An additional 100 new low-energy, high-efficiency snow guns and a new snow groomer are also part of this summer’s investment.
