East Burke, VT – Burke Mountain has received approval under Vermont’s strict environmental Act 250 for the first phase of development that calls for 32 residential units to be constructed near the ski resort’s Mid-Burke base lodge.
The decision to allow building on 32 single family lots in a development known as Camber Heights was announced last week by District Environmental Commission #7 of the State of Vermont Agency of Natural Resources. A model home is expected to be constructed this summer on one of the lots near the base of the resort’s new Mid-Burke Express chairlift.
Permits for additional phases of Burke’s master development plan remain pending.
