Mountain High Celebrates Snowvember With Discounts And Charity Donations

Wrightwood, CA – Skiers and snowboarders are celebrating November on the slopes this season during Mountain High’s Snowvember promotion.

Any guest who shows their Movember mustache at the ticket windows will receive a free Express Pass, a loyalty card that normally costs $10 which saves users $10 on every non-holiday visit, earns them a free lift ticket after five visits, and tracks their days ridden, runs per day, vertical feet and more.  Mustaches can be real or imitation.

For every Season Pass sold during the month of November Mountain High will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Movember Men’s Health Foundation.  With their mo’s affixed, the Movember Foundation raises vital awareness and funds for men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.  Working together with the LIVESTRONG Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundation, these three channels support a broad range of initiatives to raise awareness in the areas of education, survivorship, and research.

“Like so many of our friends in the action sports industry, we are proud to be partnering with the Movember Foundation to change the face of men’s health,” says Mountain High’s Chief Marketing Officer, John McColly.

While Mountain High’s season passes are currently on sale there are only a few left, resort officials indicate. These passes normally sell out by Thanksgiving, if not earlier, and are bound to be in demand as Mountain High already opened on Sunday as the first ski area in Southern California to do so.
