Job seekers are being invited to winter in Lake Tahoe as Heavenly Mountain Resort, Northstar California Resort and Kirkwood Mountain Resort will hire a combined total of 2,300 seasonal employees for the 2013-14 winter season — 800 at Heavenly, 1,100 at Northstar and 400 at Kirkwood. Three job fairs are scheduled throughout October, giving candidates an opportunity to meet with managers and find the best-suited jobs.
Job fairs will take place at the Red Cliffs Lodge for Kirkwood on Saturday, October 12 from 9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m., at the Heavenly California Main Lodge for Heavenly and Kirkwood on Saturday, October 19 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and at the Northstar Village for Northstar on Saturday, October 26 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. There will be a free shuttle for job fair attendees to Kirkwood Mountain Resort on Saturday, October 12 leaving the South Lake Tahoe Y Transit Center at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 1:00 p.m.

Open positions for the 2013-14 winter season include ski and snowboard instructors, ticket sellers, cooks, lift operators, retail sales associates, parking attendants, ticket scanners, mountain safety attendants and more.
