Ski resorts across the country are currently on a hiring spree, looking to fill the ranks of ski school instructors, lift attendants, food service employees and more. Bolton Valley is hiring in Lift Operations, Grooming, Snowmaking, Nordic Staff, Ski & Ride School, Terrain Park, Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Administrative, Marketing, Parking, Rental Shop, Accounting and Maintenance.

Over in Central New York, Cornell students may be interested in Greek Peak’s job fair, when open interviews are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 1 from 3-8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Acropolis Conference Room, located in the resort’s Katalima building. Prospective employees will be interviewed on a first come, first interviewed basis for positions as a ski lift operator, snowmaker, lift mechanic, food and beverage employee, housekeeper, shop employee in rental, ski repair or retail, ticket agent or welcome center employee. On the West Coast, California’s Bear Valley Resort is looking for “happy people with excellent customer service skills who have a passion for snow sportsand pure mountain fun.” To fill that need, the resort is hosting its job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Big Trees Shopping Center. Prospective employees are being encouraged to fill out an online application in order to receive a scheduled interview appointment time at the job fair. Walk-ins are welcomed, but will be addressed on a first come, first served basis as resort managers attempt to filter applicants in between scheduled appointments.
