Saint-Sauveur (QC), Canada – Quebec’s Mont-Saint-Sauveur opened for skiing and riding on Monday, the first in Canada and the second-earliest opening in the resort’s history.
Sixteen hours of snowmaking is all it took. St.-Sauveur spun one lift from noon to 9:30 p.m. on Monday with one trail open.
With temperatures already well above freezing, Mont-St.-Sauveur will stay open daily as long as conditions allow.
