Pennsylvania Ski Areas’ $49 First-Time Program Returns

White Haven, PA – Eighteen ski resorts in Pennsylvania are offering first-timers the chance to try a new winter sport for $49, including a lift ticket, lesson and rentals.

Program amenities, such as a minimum age of participants and the lifts available, vary from resort to resort. While there are no blackout dates, the First-Time Ski/Snowboard ProgramĀ is limited to five vouchers per purchaser, and quantities are limited for each resort. All participating resorts offer a choice of skiing or snowboarding.

Applications must be completed online at the Ski PA website. Participating resorts and applicable restrictions include:

Montage 6 Short Haul & Shuttle Lift
Mystic Mountain at Nemacolin Woodlands 4 None
Roundtop 4 – ski

Seven Springs 8 Beginner lifts
Shawnee Mountain 6 – ski
