Keystone, CO - Every Thursday night in March, Keystone Resort gives skiers and riders a chance to throw down their best trick in the Colorado ski and snowboard resort's A51 Terrain Park and win prizes. Keystone will host the Sundown Showdown every Thursday in March from 4:30-6:00 p.m.to give skiers and riders the chance to showcase their abilities and win prizes for their shredding abilities. The rail jam series is for both skiers and snowboarders, male and female, and is free to enter. The sessions are open to all ability levels.
Skiers and riders will head up to the A51 terrain park to register for the rail jam between 4:30-5 p.m., then the session opens up from 5-6 p.m. Each week the session will feature a new rail, box, or wall ride, which will be available for preview on the revamped, interactive A51 web site, keystoneresort.com/A51. Awards and prizes will be given out to the sessions’ top male and female rail slayers at the Green Light in River Run from 6-6:30 p.m. Prizes will range from hoodies and beanies to snowboards. The Green Light will offer food and drink specials to keep the party going.
The Sundown Showdown sessions are sponsored by KSMT Radio and Keystone Resort. Free parking is available at the River Run Lots located off Highway 6 East on Gondola Road. Events will be held on March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
