Your 2007-08 Ski Day Count

I know that many here aren't close to calling it a season, but I did yesterday. No injuries, met a bunch of new people, got my wife on 105-waist boards, had powder days in Pennsylvania and at Snow King  ... guess I shouldn't complain. Next year, my three-year-old is going to be rocking the magic carpet; can't wait to get him on skis.

So when the fat lady sings for you, let's see where you went.

2007-08: 25 days

I'll let you know sometime when I finish MY season, maybe in September? :P

If I wanted to I could probably try to meet or beat you, again without leaving Utah as I did a few years ago. They key, though, is "if I wanted to." I did that once...been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Backpacking, cycling, fishing, camping...they're all calling loudly.

The kitchen apocalypse heats up again.

If you're referring to me, that's not a factor at all -- she doesn't do any of that stuff, either.

Just making fun of you making fun of James.

James, what happened to Frank? Not Ontour, but Burns?

Mark seemed genuinely annoyed by ol' Ferret Face, so as a goodwill gesture, I retired him (for now).

I will see that and raise you a month :D 44 so far and 60 is within sight.

I'll see your 43 so far and raise you 9. You have a way to go, Grasshopper.

I'm at 35 and the likely final number will be 40. 2007-08 will end up behind the past 3 seasons due to no Southern Hemisphere trip.

Very nice Mr. Crocker!
I've never cared much for vert. When you're at the base you don't have great views. Nonetheless, its a pretty cool chart.

Unfortunately, my season will close next weekend. Minus "mountain creek," which shouldn't count I'l have hit the mountains for some 16 days. But 9 of those were in "foofy" utah. I had powder in 3 different states this year.
Next year I'm going to change my schedule to have one big vacation per month from dec. to mar. This year january was notable for lack of "real" skiing.

38 for me so far. It would have been 58 if my appendix didn't have other ideas about how I should have spent my time over xmas.

Backpacking, cycling, fishing, camping...they're all calling loudly

climbing, white water rafting, water skiiing, and on and on...

I agree with Admin. but they are 'only' calling for now... 'loudly'will be in a few more weeks, for me at least.

Hmm... St George and the Arizona Strip have already been in the 70's with 80's predicted for this weekend. Moab and Indian Creek a little cooler. Red Rocks in full climb anything mode.........
