Brighton, UT – Next Friday, Apr. 9, Utah’s Brighton Ski Resort will offer $16 lift tickets for Brighton’s Customer Appreciation Night.nThe $16 night ticket is good from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 9 only. No coupon is required.

Also next Friday night, the Red Bull Butter Cup is a contest series that showcases creativity in technical flatland trickery. This back-to-basics terrain park contest was born in the Northeast in 2009 and bred for the country in 2010.

This jam sesssion format contest lets contestants cut loose on the custom Red Bull butter. Style and creativity is the name of the game, and the cream will rise to the top. Cash and gear will be handed out to winners, and only trick sequences that include buttering will count. Registration is free and is available day of the event only from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., with practice following for the next hour before the contest gets underway from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. First place scores $750, with second place earning $500 and third $250.

Those who will make it up to Brighton this Sunday may join the Easter Bunny on the slopes of Explorer for Brighton’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, beginning at 8:15 a.m. All ages are welcome. Kids 8 and over must be on a snowboard or skis. Bring your camera and your own Easter baskets.

Brighton plans to offer skiing and riding through Apr. 18, conditions permitting.
