McCall, ID – Staffers at Brundage Mountain Resort has adjusted the central Idaho ski area’s spring event schedule to allow more people to participate in some of its most popular events. Pond Skimming and Crazy Daze will now be held this Saturday, with a new event, Snow Battle, moving to Sunday, Apr. 11.n”We solicited feedback from several guests and discovered they were having to make hard choices between some of their favorite outdoor spring events,” said resort spokesperson, April Russell. “Shifting the schedule this way will allow more of our loyal visitors to enjoy what has become a very popular fun-filled day.”
The new date also puts the Pond Skimming and Crazy Daze events right at the end of Spring Break for many area families. It will now fall on the same weekend as the popular “Gimme A Break” day this Sunday, which features free lift tickets for kids 17 and under.
Crazy Daze has been a staple of Brundage Mountain’s spring schedule for decades, and this is the 4th Annual Pond Skimming event, which has quickly become one of the ski area’s most popular.
“We’re excited about the way this revised schedule will work,” added Russell. “We’ve got some action-packed events stacked up for the first two weekends in April.”
Brundage Mountain plans to operate seven days a week through Apr. 11. As in recent years, the ski area will add as many “Bonus Weekends” as possible, operating Saturdays and Sundays beyond that date as long as snow conditions allow.
