Copper Mountain, CO – For what Copper Mountain officials are calling the state’s largest Easter egg hunt, 50,000 eggs will be squirreled away throughout the village and ski mountain this Easter Sunday at the resort. There will be an all-ages hunt on the mountain and two kid’s hunts in the village. One hundred pecial “Copper Eggs” in each of the hunts can be redeemed for prizes, such as cash, season passes, and more.nThe Big Kids’ Hunt runs from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. for those ages 13 and up on select ski runs. Separate hunts are scheduled at 11 a.m. in the Village at Copper for those ages 6-12, and at noon for those ages 5 and under at the Climbing Wall. Catch the Easter Bunny in the Village at Copper at 11 a.m., or in the East Village at the Tubing Hill at 1 p.m. And don’t miss the Easter Bunny in the half pipe, viewable from Jack’s deck after the USASA competition at approximately 3 p.m.
There are a number of opportunities to attend Easter service at Copper this Sunday as well, including at 8:30 a.m. in the Copper Community Chapel, at the top of the Rendezvous lift at 11 a.m., or at 12:30 p.m. at the Nature Center behind Solitude Station, accessible via the American Eagle lift.
