Dakota Mountain Lodge at The Canyons Changes Hands, Changes Names

Park City, UT – Following its purchase last month by Talisker Corporation, owner of The Canyons ski and snowboard resort in Park City, the luxury slopeside Dakota Mountain Lodge at The Canyons is being rebranded as the Waldorf Astoria Park City.nHilton Worldwide announced the name change for the Dakota Mountain Lodge & Golden Door Spa last week. The re-branding will take place over the next 60 days.

Waldorf Astoria Park City is located at the base of The Canyons Ski Resort. Although now owned by Talisker, the 175-room property has been managed by Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts since its opening in July 2009. On-premise is the 16,000-square-foot Golden Door Spa and award-winning Spruce Restaurant.
