Stratton Mountain, VT – What do staffers at Vermont’s Stratton Mountain ski area do with the piles and piles of snow that made up the U.S. Open Superpipe and Freestyle courses? Use it all, of course…in May…on Memorial Day Weekend.nDon’t put your equipment away just yet, as Stratton officials are planning for the first ever Stratton Mountain Mayhem Jam, a freestyle mash up, “park builder’s pick” event featuring cash prizes and free swag. What better way to get your summertime skiing and snowboarding fix?

The event will take place on Sunday, May 30, starting at 10 a.m. in Stratton’s Sun Bowl. Registration costs $20 and participants can sign up through www.active.com, or on-site beginning at 9 a.m. on the day of the event.

DJ Joe Bell will be spinning tunes with free swag, cash prizes and a post-event barbeque to follow.
