Bear Valley, CA – All proceeds from this Sunday’s 5th annual Slush Cup Part Deux race at northern California’s Bear Valley ski area benefit the Bear Valley Snow Sports Education Foundation (BVSSEF). The event will put a wrap on skiing and snowboarding at Bear Valley for 2009-10.nThis race, open to all Bear Valley guests to show their stuff on the last day of the season, will be held on a pro-style dual course with divisions for Alpine and Non-Alpine. There will be multiple age divisions, for both men and women.
For those racers who participated in the March 28th “Part One” event, registration is free. For those who didn’t, the entry fee is a $30 donation. Kids 12 and under race free with their paid parent. Registration fees do not include lift tickets.
Registration takes place on site from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday morning, with qualifying beginning at 10 a.m. and finals starting at 1 p.m. An awards ceremony and raffle will be held on the Sundeck, weather permitting, beginning at approximately 3 p.m.
Event beneficiary BVSEF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Bear Valley’s snowsports athletes as well as enhancing the experience of ski racing at Bear Valley.
