Deer Valley’s Summer Adventure Camp to Open Monday

Park City, UT – Deer Valley Resort’s Summer Adventure Camp, for children ages two months to 12 years, will open Monday at the Utah ski resort. Kids may attend daily, weekly or for the entire summer season.nCampers will participate in an array of activities designed to ensure they are creatively challenged and entertained. The eleven-week program is filled with arts, crafts, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, team-oriented sporting events, weekly field trips and other age-appropriate activities. Campers also participate in a bi-weekly community service project, the Summer Adventure Volunteer Effort (SAVE).

Camp sessions are offered Monday through Friday, beginning June 7 through August 20, excluding Monday, July 5 and Friday, July 23. Camp hours are from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with organized activities from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Camp prices vary by camper age, and full-summer rates range from $1,461 to $2,426 for the youngest participants. Daily and weekly rates are available for all but those under one year of age. Half-day rates are available for the oldest children.

All campers need to bring a nut-free sack lunch, water bottle and sunscreen each day. Field trip and swimming fees are not included in prices and range from $15 to $25 per trip; swimming fees are $6.

Sessions are held in Deer Valley Resort’s state-licensed Children’s Center in Snow Park Lodge at the ski area’s base.
