Arapahoe Basin, CO – The final day of the 2009-10 Colorado ski season will be this Sunday, June 6, when Arapahoe Basin wraps up winter operations. Summer ski conditions exist with top to bottom skiing and riding. Two lifts are operating serving eight trails of intermediate terrain. The Treeline Terrain Park is open with a variety of rails and jumps.nThis Sunday, A-Basin will be holding an informal pond skimming event stating at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Reveal, the natural lake that forms at mid mountain every spring just off Dercum’s Gulch. Skiers and snowboarders will attempt to cross the lake to win bragging rights. A DJ from Krystal 93 will be playing tunes in the base area from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Sunday will also be the last chance to ride A-Basin’s Exhibition lift, which will be replaced with a high-speed quad this summer, the Black Mountain Express.
