Park City, UT – Few things are a sure thing when it comes to Bode Miller, but the veteran World Cup ski racer and Olympic medalist from Franconia, N.H. has reportedly signed a contract for another season with the U.S. Ski Team.nAccording to news reports, Miller has signed the contract for another winter and has even pressed U.S. Ski Team men’s coach Sasha Rearick for an early jump into on-snow training in New Zealand this summer.
Miller, 32, rejoined the U.S. Ski Team for the 2009-10 World Cup and Olympic seasons after spending two years training and racing independently. He exhibited signs of burnout late in the 2008-09 season, and surprised many skeptics by taking home three Olympic medals at the 2010 Games held in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. He indicated, however, that he needed this summer relaxing in San Diego, Calif., to mull over a decision whether or not to return to ski racing.
