Waitsfield, VT – On Thursday, July 29, the Hyde Away Inn in Waitsfield will donate a portion of its dinner food sales to Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, the only year-round disabled sports program to offer statewide seasonal programming seven days a week to people with disabilities.nThe organization relies on its partners and fundraising efforts in order to make it possible for youth and adults with disabilities to actively participate in everyday recreation alpine skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more. In addition, funds raised throughout the year help to purchase up-to-date adaptive equipment, increase training opportunities for the hundreds of dedicated volunteers and to provide sliding scale assistance that makes activities more affordable for participants.
From 4:30 to 10 p.m., 25 percent of all food sales at the Hyde Away will be donated to Vermont Adaptive, which will then be used to support programming at Sugarbush Resort in Warren, Pico Mountain in Killington, and Bolton Valley in Bolton. To RSVP to the event, visit www.hydeawayinn.com or through the inn’s event page on Facebook.
