Killington Regrading Ski Trails, Augmenting Snowmaking This Summer

Killington, VT – Killington trail crews are busy this summer with excavators and a backhoe to regrade some of the Vermont ski and snowboard resort’s terrain and improve snowmaking installations.nThis week, crews are hard at work in the Bittersweet/Great Eastern intersection, regrading to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion. Blasting will eliminate some rocky areas on Great Eastern near the top of the Needle’s Eye lift.

Other projects underway at Killington this summer to improve the ski and ride experience include replacing the control room and drive control on the Superstar lift, replacing chairlift seat cushions and repainting lift towers.
