Huntsville, UT – The Way Out West Music Festival this weekend at Utah’s Snowbasin ski resort will feature national acts including Dwight Yoakam, Martin Sexton, Sam Bush, and other top-name performers, along with Malcolm McDowell as emcee.nGates open at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to main stage performances, a second stage will feature local and regional entertainers including Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music (OFOAM). The festival area will include a number of specialty booths, beer gardens and food concessions. The gondola will be open to foot passengers only on Aug. 7-8 (no bikes allowed). Buffets will not be served at Needles Lodge atop the gondola on festival weekend.
Tickets are now available at the Grizzly Center at Snowbasin (Fri., Sat., Sun.) with no service fee, Golden Spike Harley Davidson on Riverdale Road, and at www.24tix.com. Advance tickets cost $65 for one day or $100 for the entire weekend. Group discounts for six or more, and VIP tickets ($90 for one day) are also available online. Same-day discounts are available for active duty military with ID and children 12 years and under – $50 for one day or $85 for both days.
Limited parking is available for oversized vehicles and RVs off Snowbasin Road, with shuttle service to the festival area near the finish line of the 2002 downhill.
