Jackson, WY – Ski and snowboard film producer Teton Gravity Research (TGR) on Monday announced that Jon “J.K.” Klaczkiewicz, who most recently supervised post-production of TGR’s snowboard film “Deeper”, has officially joined TGR as Head of Production. His expanded role will include overall production management as well as new business development.n”As we went about restructuring our production team to meet our current and future needs, we realized very fortunately that J.K. had all of the qualities that we were looking for in a Head of Production. The irony was that he was already under our roof,” said Todd Jones, one of TGR’s founders. “We were stoked to find out that he was interested in and willing to take on this new challenge. There is no one in the industry more qualified than J.K.”
Klaczkiewicz will supervise all aspects of production activity. This will include management of TGR’s resources, both human and otherwise, formulating budgets, generating new production business, and conceptualizing new revenue streams relating to TGR content. He will report to Jones, who will maintain his focus on the company’s growing new media team and merging the worlds of production and online.
