Friends of the Forest Day Aug. 28 at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort

Mt. Hood, OR – The National Forest Foundation is organizing a volunteer “Friends of the Forest” event at Oregon’s Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort Aug. 28. Attendees will spend the morning helping to collect native plant seeds, remove invasive species or pick up litter.nCheck-in begins at 9:00 a.m. and work activities begin at 10:00 a.m. All ages 8 and up are welcome to attend.

Lunch will be provided by the ski area to those participants who pre-register at www.nationalforests.org.
