Mountain High to Host Urban Snowboarding Party to Launch Season Pass Sales

Torrance, CA – Southern California’s Mountain High ski and snowboard resort will host a “Bring Your Board” party in Torrance, featuring a ramp built from 25 tons of snow, to launch its 2010-11 season pass sales.nThe event to be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Podium Distribution’s headquarters at 955 Francisco St. in Torrance will also feature free Wahoo’s Fish Tacos for the first 300 guests, DVS’ indoor skate park, live music, food, vendors, and “meet and greets” with team pro riders. All activities are free of charge with the exception of the snow ramp, which will be reserved for Mountain High passholders and invited pros only. Season passes will be sold on site at $299 for adults and $129 for children ages 7 to 12, including two free additional non-holiday lift tickets.
