German Visitor Missing Between Australian Ski Areas Found

Thredbo (NSW), Australia – A 28-year-old German man has been reported missing after attempting to ski between two Australian ski resorts has been found by local police.nPatrick Beaumann reportedly told employees at a Charlotte Pass hotel on Saturday that he planned to ski to Thredbo. He was advised against the journey as he lacked proper equipment to make the trek during the snowstorm that was in progress at the time.

A search was initiated when he failed to arrive in Thredbo or return to Charlotte Pass. The SES, ambulance service and National Parks and Wildlife officers all searched for the man in an area between Charlotte Pass and Thredbo.

Police located the missing tourist late Sunday morning unharmed in Perisher Village.
