Killington Mountain School Hosts Annual Golf Tournament Sept. 24 to Support Athletic Fund

Killington, VT – Vermont’s Killington Mountain School (KMS) ski academy will host its 24th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, Sept. 24 at Green Mountain National Golf Course in Killington. Monies raised will help to support the school’s Athletic Fund.nRegistration for the scramble format tournament begins at 9 a.m. and play begins with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Teams of four are requested and singles will fill incomplete teams. Players receive an 18-hole round of golf, cart, goodie bag, barbecue lunch, prizes, and a cocktail reception and awards ceremony. The cost is $145 per person.

“Players really have the opportunity to make a difference in an athlete’s life by participating,” said Tao Smith, head of school at KMS. “The KMS Athletic Fund allows us to provide with the means to invest in the best equipment and infrastructure needed to help these student-athletes succeed. Money donated to the fund directly impacts the lives of these up-and-coming athletes. We are grateful for the families, friends, alumni, and local business who come out to the tournament each year to show their support for our program. The tournament has become a great fall classic.”
