Killington, VT – Fall colors bathe Vermont hillsides from early September through mid-October, and Killington Resort will honor the annual progression toward winter with scenic rides aboard the ski resort’s gondola and a calendar of special events and activities.nA scenic ride on the K-1 Gondola to the highest lift-served ski terrain in Vermont offers an opportunity to view the foliage colors in the heart of the Green Mountains. In addition, the summit of KillingtonPeak, a short 10-minute hike from the top of the gondola, provides a panoramic view of five states and Canada on a crisp, clear autumn day.
The K-1 Gondola is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekends through Sept. 26 and daily Oct. 2 through 11.
