Welch Village Moving Terrain Parks

Welch, MN – Welch Village ski area, south of the Twin Cities, announced last week that changes in store for the coming winter season will include moving the resort’s terrain parks.nWelch Village officials plan to convert both the Ski Bob and Leapin Liz runs into terrain parks for the coming season and for the foreseeable future. Their tentative plan at this point is to place the jumps on Ski Bob and rails, boxes, etc. on Leapin Liz.

“We don’t know how many jumps and features in general we plan to have at this point,” a resort spokesperson indicated, along with confirming that the Boneyard and Nanny’s will now be reserved for beginners and free of terrain features.
