London, UK – The Ski Club of Great Britain has teamed up with Salomon and Snow+Rock to present the Salomon Quest Backcountry Ski Seminar Tour this November. The tour will be presented by established mountain guide Nigel Shepherd and will take place at Snow+Rock stores across the U.K.nWith years of backcountry experience, Shepherd has traveled globally in search of precious powder locations. Harnessing this knowledge, he has worked alongside Salomon research and development to create company’s new line of backcountry gear, including the Quest ski boots and Sentinel skis.
Those attending the tour will get the chance to find out more about Salomon’s new gear while learning more about off piste skiing and ski touring. Shepherd will also be sharing his firsthand experience of some of the world’s best ski spots and discussing the basics of avalanche awareness.
At the Hemel Snow Centre and the Chill Factore there will also be the chance to try a range of the Salomon Quest boots and Sentinel skis on the slopes in a one-hour on-snow session.
Tickets can be bought on the Ski Club of Great Britain’s online shop at skiclub.co.uk. Costs are £7 or £5 for Ski Club members and those under 16, and £15 for the talk and on-snow demo.
