Aspen, CO – The sixth installation of The Meeting, slated for Sept. 23-25 in Aspen, will deliver a full schedule of the top 2010-11 ski and snowboard movies and is accompanied by a music lineup featuring DJ Muggs and hip-hop great Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, according to the schedule announced by event organizers on Friday.nA highlight for The Meeting will be a showing of Teton Gravity Research’s (TGR) Light the Wick at the Sundeck at the top of Aspen Mountain on Thursday evening. In addition ski films from Matchstick, Level 1, Poor Boyz Productions, Stan Evans Photography, Tyler Stableford and Davensport MountainSport & Granite Films will be showing.
TGR will show a second film called Deeper, falling into the snowboard category of films, along with showings from Forum Snowboards, Standard Films, TransWorld Snowboarding, a Pirate Movie Production and Volcom & Veeco Entertainment film.
Tickets for The Meeting are on sale now at the Wheeler Opera House and Belly Up in Aspen. Each screening at the Wheeler includes two movies and tickets cost $10 per screening. Sundeck pricing is $10. Belly Up pricing is $25 for Friday including two movies and a performance by DJ Muggs. Belly Up pricing for Saturday is $32 including two movies and a performance by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
