London, UK – The Ski Club of Great Britain today announced a rebranding, unveiling a new logo, a new look and a new website which will go live before the start of the 2010-11 ski and snowboard season.nThe rebranding brings clarity to what the Ski Club offers and reflects the essence of the Club, which is to help skiers and snowboarders get more from their time on the slopes by offering a community which reassures, inspires and shares information.
“This is an important moment in the Ski Club’s history. The Ski Club brand is one of the most established and successful in the snowsports industry and its re-launch will ensure that this position continues to strengthen,” said the Club’s Chief Executive, Caroline Stuart-Taylor. “We are confident that the changes we have made to the Ski Club brand reflect our strong heritage and show that we are a club which helps and inspires skiers and snowboarders of all abilities both on and off the slopes.”
Following the rebrand, the Ski Club will be launching a new website before the start of the winter season, reflecting the new brand and bringing in new community-based features and information-sharing tools.
The Ski Club of Great Britain was established in 1903. It currently has over 33,000 members and over a million annual unique visitors to their website, www.skiclub.co.uk. The Ski Club is a not-for-profit recreational snowsports club which encourages participation in snowsports, helps people get more from their time on the slopes, shares information within its community, leads people on snow and offers discounts.
