Taylors Falls, MN – Next weekend Minnesota’s Wild Mountain will be hosting its 36th Annual Equipment Swap and Open House at the ski area in Taylors Falls, north of the Twin Cities. The event provides a great opportunity to purchase new or used ski or snowboard equipment and clothing, or to clean out your own garage.nSale hours are from 10.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4. Check-in to sell your own equipment and clothing takes place from noon to 8 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 2, or on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for last minute sale participants.

There is a $5.00 fee per person to put items in the swap and 15% of the sale proceeds go to benefit the Wild Mountain Ski Patrol.

Next weekend is also the last opportunity for early bird pricing on Wild Mountain season passes, as well as the last summer weekend to ride the ski area’s Alpine Slide or Go-Karts. The resort’s Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours on the St. Croix River and canoe and kayak rentals both continue seven days a week through Oct. 17.
