MSP Ski Flick’s Utah Premiere This Saturday

Salt Lake City, UT – Matchstick Productions’ 20th feature length ski and snowboard film, “The Way I See It” will make its Utah debut this Saturday at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City. In conjunction with Ski ‘N See shops, screening sponsor Salomon is hosting a poster signing event in Sandy, with Salomon athletes Cody Townsend and Bobby Brown, both of whom are featured in the film.n“The Way I See It” is billed as a modern take on the extreme sports genre featuring state-of-the-art, high definition cinematography and unique POV angles. The film recently won top honors at the International Freeski Film Festival held in Montreal, including Best Film, Best Editing and People’s Choice Awards. Shot on location in Alaska, Japan, British Columbia, Colorado, Switzerland and other locations across the globe, the film features an impressive cast, including Salomon athletes Mark Abma, Ingrid Backstrom and Henrik Windstedt, along with Brown and Townsend.

The autograph signing with Townsend and Brown will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Ski ‘N See store located at 722 East 9400 South in Sandy. “The Way I See It” premieres at 8 p.m. at the Rail Event Center, located at 235 N 500 W in Salt Lake City. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are available at Ski ‘N See locations for $15.
