Beijing, China – Oakley and snowboarding phenomenon Shaun White will be heading to China in December to launch the brand new Air & Style Beijing.nTaking place for the first time on Dec. 4, the Air & Style Beijing 2010 contest will take place in the Chinese capital’s Olympic Sports Center Stadium. On deck is a unique mixture of high class snowboarding combined with top musical acts performing live on stage.

Taking place at several locations around the globe, Air & Style is one of the biggest and most prestigious contests in snowboarding. Sixteen of the world’s best snowboarders, including Scotty Lago, Andreas Wiig and Peetu Piroiinen, have already confirmed their attendance in Beijing. They’ll drop in from a 42m tall in-run to perform breathtaking tricks over the gigantic straight jump while competing for the prize money of US $100,000 and 1,000 points in the TTR World Snowboard Tour ranking – and the famous Air & Style ring of glory.
