Snowbird, UT – Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort President Bob Bonar announced today that Dave Fields has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Resort Operations. Fields’ new position will provide greater oversight in the day-to-day operations of the resort and help sharpen Snowbird’s focus on customer service.n“In Dave’s 11 years at Snowbird, he’s shown tremendous leadership and an ability to work seamlessly with all of our various departments, our employees and our community,” Bonar said. “Snowbird is known for its terrain, snow and Tram. We are committed to adding outstanding customer service to that list and Dave is going to help us achieve that goal.”

During his tenure at Snowbird, Fields has risen from the position of Assistant Director of Public Relations to the Director of Marketing, Tickets and Entertainment and Special Events, departments he will continue to oversee as VP of Resort Operations. Fields grew up skiing neighboring Alta Ski Area, where his father was a ski instructor.
