Wolf Creek Ski Area Launches Season Saturday

Pagosa Springs, CO – At Colorado’s Wolf Creek to the growing list of ski areas across the western U.S. and Canada that will have its lifts spinning this weekend.nWolf Creek Ski Area this afternoon confirmed that the mountain will open for the 2010-11 ski and snowboard season this Saturday. The Treasure, Bonanza and Nova lifts will be operating daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wolf Creek received 10 inches of wet snow earlier this week, blanketing the mountain the start of its base. Conditions are considered to be really good with many The terrain serviced by Treasure, Bonanza and Nova will be open without rope closures; skiers and boarders are expected to ski cautiously because of the many early season obstacles.

Lift tickets will be priced at $31.00 for adults and $18.00 for seniors and children until further notice.
The Wolf Creek Ski and Snowboarding School, Ski and Snowboard Rentals, Wolf Creek Lodge, Treasure Sports and Pathfinder Bar will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
