Henniker, NH – Southern New Hampshire’s Pats Peak ski area will hold its 8th annual Octoberfest celebration from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Sunday in conjunction with the 40th annual Pats Peak Ski Club Ski and Snowboard Sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.nIt’s one of the biggest Octoberfest celebrations in the state, and includes authentic German food, live music from King Ludwig’s Bavarian Band, chairlift rides, kids activities, woodsmen show, New Hampshire Cowboy Mounted Shooting Demo and rich decorations to put guests in the spirit. Admission is free.
“This is a great kick off event to get excited about the winter season. Skiers and snowboarders can get ready for winter with new equipment at the sale and then relax at a fun Octoberfest celebration,” says Kris Blomback, General Manager of Pats Peak. “Even if you don’t ski, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a fun event.”
The annual Ski and Snowboard Sale is an opportunity to buy and sell new and used ski and snowboard equipment with a portion of the benefits going to the Pats Peak Ski Club, a non-profit organization benefiting junior alpine racers. Drop off times for equipment to sell are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday at the ski area in Henniker, and again on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The sale hours on Sunday are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
