Ludlow, VT – After two years serving as director of the Division of Parks and Recreation for the New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development, Ted Austin is returning to the ski industry as Okemo Mountain Resort’s new V.P. of Marketing.nAustin will oversee all aspects of the Vermont ski and snowboard resort’s four-season marketing goals and initiatives. In addition to the State of New Hampshire, previously Austin worked as the senior vice president of operations and business development for Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, Wyo. He was the vice president and general manager of Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, N.H., and director of marketing and sales for Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort in Twin Bridges, Calif. Austin also worked as marketing manager for Okemo Mountain Resort in the late 1980s.

“I am thrilled to return to Okemo Mountain Resort,” said Austin. “I am additionally humbled with the opportunity Tim and Diane have afforded me to work toward maintaining the resort’s market-leading position as well as to improve the guest experience.
