Franconia Notch, NH – A 19-year-old Massachusetts man was killed on Sunday when he struck a tree while skiing at Cannon Mountain ski area in Franconia Notch, N.H.nThomas Nestor, Jr., of Wakefield, Mass. near Boston, was skiing Cannon’s Zoomer lift line around 10:15 a.m. Sunday morning when he lost control and slid into the woods, coming to rest against a rock. He was taken to Littleton Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There were no witnesses to the accident involving Nestor, who was not wearing a helmet. No further details are available at this time.
