Copper Mountain, CO – The USA’s Jake Larue and Jessika Jenson grabbed the top spots of the men’s and women’s U.S. Revolution Tour slopestyle snowboarding at Copper Mountain on Wednesday.nThe men’s podium hit all regions while the Western Region’s Larue, of Ward, Colo., topped the field scoring a 41.80. Representing the East Coast was Alexander Rodway of Rangeley, Maine in second with a score of 39.90, followed by Chisago City, Minn.’s Easton Gilman of the midwest in third.
In the women’s contest Jenson, of Rigby, Idaho, laid down a killer run with judges awarding her the win, giving her a total score of 38.30. Danielle Adams of Evergreen, Colo., finished second followed by Franconia, N.H.’s Elin Tortorice in third.
Wednesday’s contest concluded the snowboarding portion of the opening U.S. Revolution Tour series. The U.S. Revolution Tour at Copper continues Friday with men’s and women’s halfpipe skiing.
