Whistler (BC), Canada – Officials at Kadenwood, a new residential development located on Whistler Mountain in this British Columbia ski resort town, have announced Dec. 23 for the opening of a dedicated gondola for exclusive use and access of its residents and guests.n
Whistler’s new private Kaedenwood gondola is ready to spin later this month. |
The gondola, constructed by Doppelmayr, transports Kadenwood homeowners and their guests between the Creekside Village base and Kadenwood in approximately six minutes. Covering a vertical rise of 228 meters (749 feet), the gondola will accommodate eight people with skis. In the summer time, bikes and strollers can also be transported between Whistler’s valley trails and Creekside’s amenities.
“The convenience and proximity this private gondola affords Kadenwood residents tops off the ultimate enclave in North America’s top rated ski resort,” says Keith McIvor, Vice President of Sales for EcOasis Properties Limited, the development company which acquired Kadenwood from Vancouver resort development and management company Intrawest ULC on Sept. 30.
The neighborhood consists of 60 planned home sites, of which two-thirds have been already sold. Nestled in the forest high above Whistler Creekside, the Kadenwood offers estate home sites that are intended to represent the peak of luxury living in Whistler.
Next month, EcOasis will release details about home sites available for purchase ranging in price from C$1 million to $3 million. More information is available at www.kadenwoodhomes.com.
