Girl Injured in Fall from Pennsylvania Ski Lift

Somerset County, PA – An undentified 10-year-old girl sustained non-life threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon when she fell 15 feet from a chairlift at Hidden Valley ski area in Somerset County.nThe girl was one of three sharing a chair on the Avalanche quad lift at Hidden Valley when she slipped from her seat as the safety bar was being raised near the top. She was flown to Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Penn., as a precaution. She reportedly never lost consciousness.
