North Conway, NH – New Hampshire’s Cranmore Mountain ski area is kicking off the New Year with a deal this Friday for guests of all ages.nCranmore’s Ticket Roll Back Day is scheduled for this Friday. Guests can ski and snowboard all day for only $9, and then relax in Zip’s pub for après and enjoy live music from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Then this weekend, Cranmore’s Saturday night Cranapalooza celebration will feature a family magic show with Ryan Mahoney at 3:30 p.m., and live music from Bill Cameron in Zip’s Pub at 4 p.m. Saturday night is also the start to Cranmore’s Darkside Terrain Park signature event, Fire on the Mountain, when Rossignol and Eastern Boarder present the first out of a three part series under the lights at 5 p.m. as skiers and riders earn points towards the final event held in March. Registration is from 2 to 4 p.m. and requires a $10 registration fee plus a lift ticket or season pass.
This Sunday is Cranmore’s Annual Great Penguin Race sponsored by the Penguin Gallery of North Conway, where all proceeds benefit the Mount Washington Valley Children’s Museum. Penguins are raced down the slope in modified or plan categories and can be purchased for $5 at Cranmore Guest Services or at the Mount Washington Valley Children’s Museum, located in North Conway.
