Otepaa, Estonia – Officials canceled the Ladies’ Ski Jumping Team event Saturday at the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Jumping Championships in Otepaa, Estonia due to heavy snowfall and gusty wind. The event will not be rescheduled.nOfficials moved up the event to 1:30 p.m. from the original start time of 5 p.m. in hopes of getting it in before the bad weather. At 6:45 p.m., the competition was officially called off.
The women’s team event was on the program for the first time in a Junior Worlds. Now, jumpers will have to wait until the next Junior Worlds in Erzerum, Turkey in 2012.
