Colden, NY – A 60-year-old skier slumped into a Kissing Bridge ski resort chairlift near Buffalo, N.Y., before falling and dying on Friday afternoon.nWitnesses described John Fuchs, a longtime Kissing Bridge skier from Wales, N.Y., suffering an apparent medical condition before falling approximately 25 feet from the chairlift. Kissing Bridge ski patrol transferred Fuchs to EMS to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy to determine the cause of death is planned by Erie County officials.
