Newry, ME – Sunday River Real Estate, the on-resort agency for Sunday River Ski Resort located in Newry, has announced the close of the agency’s biggest year of sales ever, bucking the national real estate slump.n“Achieving such a success in a still hesitant economy is a testament to the confidence our guests have in the resort,” says Mark Hall, VP of Development for Sunday River.

Sunday River Real Estate closed 2010 with sales approximately 53 percent higher than in 2009. Contributing to that success was an increase in the number of condominiums sold, the addition of three agents, and the resort’s Tempest Ridge real estate development.

Due to the strength of the market, Sunday River has continued its planning process and will announce several new development projects later this spring.
