Odgen, UT – Goode Ski Technologies announced Monday that it’s relocating all of its ski production from China to Utah, a move that will create 100 jobs in this northern Utah city.nThe decision will mark the first time that a major ski company will undertake all production in Utah. The company’s workforce in Utah will increase fourfold as 20 new carbon fiber ski models will be introduced for 2011-12. The company is spending $1 million to upgrade its Ogden facility on Wall Street to accommodate the new production.
“We’re moving our snow ski production from China, here to Ogden, Utah, U.S.A.,” said David Goode, President of Goode Ski Technologies. “Here at the foot of the Wasatch, with neighboring skiing so close, it’s a tremendous opportunity for us.”
