Ross McRobie Steps in as Interim General Manager at Snow Sports New Zealand

Auckland, New Zealand – Snow Sports New Zealand (SSNZ) Board Chair, Rick Pettit, has announced that Ross McRobie, a current SSNZ Board member and Wanaka businessman, will step into the shoes of the organization’s General Manager on an interim basis until a permanent successor to former CEO Ross Palmer is idetified.nPalmer announced earlier this month that he was stepping down to pursue other interests. He was widely credited with growing the organization and launching the formal proposal to the International Ski Federation (FIS) to include snowboard slopestyle in the recently concluded World Championships, a prerequisite to consideration for the Olympic program.
