Windham, NY – Skiing legends along with 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Andrew Weibrecht will be heading to Windham Mountain Resort in the Catskill Mountains of New York State on Saturday, Mar. 5. The ski area is set to host the Windham Mountain U.S. Ski Team Day fundraiser gathering on and off the slopes for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation.nSkiing’s finest will be gathering in New York for some fun and sun this spring. U.S. Ski Team supporters and fans will get the chance to not only shred with skiing icons but also go head-to-head in Nature Valley NASTAR races. A decorated cast including Tommy Moe, Donna Weinbrecht and Trace Worthington will lead the charge on the slopes.
Following the East Coast ski adventure is the ugly sweater-themed Windham Mountain U.S. Ski Team Day’s VIP Après Ski Party. It is highly encouraged to pull out your prettiest or ugliest ski sweater.
Not only will this be an extremely fun gathering but it also will help support the future of competitive skiing and snowboarding with sights set on 2014. All proceeds will go directly to the athletes of the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding.
