Crystal Mountain, WA – Authorities on Wednesday resumed their search for a skier missing since Tuesday afternoon at Crystal Mountain in Washington.nHigh winds and falling snow made things difficult Tuesday evening for members of the Crystal Mountain Ski Patrol, who looked before nightfall for the unidentified victim, identified as an experienced male skier in his 30s. Authorities indicate that they doubt he ventured out of bounds.
The man, a resident of the Tacoma area who is said to be a regular Crystal Mountain skier, was last seen around 2:30 p.m. in the area of the ski resort’s High Campbell chairlift. He was believed to have been skiing alone in the woods at the time of his disappearance.
